The very first steamroller printing event organized by the MIAT museum and Topo Copy was a success. It took place this weekend at DOK, Ghent and it was great fun! Fifteen artists made giant linocuts which were printed on paper and canvas. The works will be at DOK until September and will then move to the MIAT. I hope there will be a second edition next year:)
Participating artists: Ward Zwart, Dzia, Sam Scarpulla, Strook, Gill Guerra, Simon Everaert, Nele Fak, Marlies De Clerck, Liesbeth Feys, Cazzimir Meulemans, Eva Mouton, Bert De Geyter, A Squid Called Sebastian, Carlos Rivero etc.

We Are Doing It With A Steamroller! Giant Print Event & Expo – summer 2012 @ DOK – Ghent.be Powered by Topo Copy and MIAT – Museum of Industrial Archaeology and Textiles Ghent. During a two-day-event in july 2012 the carvings got inked and printed on ‘flags’ and paper with the aid of a steamroller.
