The 5th and most probably the final edition of the DRUKOPSTRAAT steamroller printing event will take place on the 7th & 8th of May in Gent (Ham).
For one more time Topo Copy, Helix, the MIAT and Circa bundle their forces to organise this anniversary edition, but this time as part of the SORRY, NOT SORRY festival. SORRY, NOT SORRY is a street art festival of Circa, Topo Copy, Kapow & 019: with murals, graffiti, performances and art installations, spread through the city of Gent.

For a fourth year on a row Topo Copy teamed up with Helix and Het Miat (Museum of Industrial Archaeology and Textiles Ghent) to make giant prints, not on a press but on concrete with a steamroller, a type of heavy construction machinery used for flattening/compacting surfaces, such as roads or airfields. During a two-day-event the artists carved lino's and printed them on ‘flags’, paper and even clothing.

The 4th edition of the spectacular steamroller printing event DRUKOPSTRAAT is coming your way! It will take place on 19-20 September, from 10 till 17, in front of the MIAT, Gent.
Watch artists carving & printing huge linocuts, visit the demonstration at the printing workshop (4th floor) and join to this year's special - the DIY corner where you can print something of you own, so feel free to bring your linocuts/woodcuts.

Tucked away near Sint-Jacobsplein in Ghent once stood a place that many locals still remember with a certain nostalgia: Marchand’10. The name Marchand’10 (Marchandise) — French for “merchant” — suited the place perfectly. This was never just a shop, but a world of its own. It felt more like wandering into a densely packed cabinet of curiosities.

It’s been quite a while since I started my Sunday type walks. What began as a simple stroll through the city—my only free day as a self-employed graphic designer—quickly became a way to move, clear my head, and indulge my long-standing fascination with typography in all its forms. Long Live the Black Art. Mini-expo at the Museum of Industry, Ghent. 24.01 - 23.02.

From 24 January to 23 February 2026, the participants of this year’s Long Live the Black Art programme will take over a small exhibition space at the Museum of Industry in Ghent.
They’ll be showing a mix of personal work and their final projects from the programme — not just polished prints, but also glimpses into how those prints came to be. Think process, materials, experiments, and the decisions made along the way.

Letterpret or Alphabet Cards

The wood-type collection at the Museum of Industry in Ghent is exceptional, and I’m lucky to work with it every day. Typesetting cards and posters, pulling prints in the museum’s workshop — even after all these years I’m still discovering new, curious, and beautifully worn pieces in the drawers.
