The 5th and most probably the final edition of the DRUKOPSTRAAT steamroller printing event will take place on the 7th & 8th of May in Gent (Ham).
For one more time Topo Copy, Helix, the MIAT and Circa bundle their forces to organise this anniversary edition, but this time as part of the SORRY, NOT SORRY festival. SORRY, NOT SORRY is a street art festival of Circa, Topo Copy, Kapow & 019: with murals, graffiti, performances and art installations, spread through the city of Gent.
During this two-day event around 20 artists will be printing their impressive large pieces of linocut (carved in advance) not on a printing press, but on the street and with a steamroller, a road construction machine which normally is being used for road maintenance.
Want to carve your own (mini) lino and print it? No problem. There is a DIY corner where you can do all of that. See you in May ;)
