This weekend Thomas Gravemaker from Letterpress Amsterdam visited Gent to give a 2-day workshop at the MIAT. After a short introduction we, a group of 8 people, got an assignment to create 8 formes from typographic elements and ornaments. These formes were locked up into one large forme to be printed on the FAG proofpress.
The plan was to print the three basic colours, yellow, magenta and cyan and it went quite smooth. We were all happy with the results and went home with a large sheet containing the various creations of all participants. Lovely idea!
