To announce various activities at the MIAT museum during the Gentse eesten I'm making a couple of posters. The first poster is typeset from wood and metal type and for the second one I will make a linocut. Here are some 'work in progress' pictures of the first poster and as you can see I still have a lot of work to do:)
Day 2 and 3 of preparation. All components were added to the final composition (please don't mind the reverse 'H' on the first picture:) and I'm ready to make a test print and start making corrections.
Huge thanks to Alfred iliet for helping me to lock up this beast.
With a help from Patrick & Sybran the lockup was replaced to Perreau & Brault stop cylinder press (manufactured in the 1870s in Paris). This press is not used that much so I don't know what the outcome will be.
