As the FIFA World Cup 2022 is approaching it is time to visit the 'World cup series' exhibition by 'Atelier deux à deux’ in Brussels. It will open its doors on the 15th of November, with a vernissage on the 17th of November at 18:30 and will run until the 30th of November. Expect to see several silkscreen-printed large-scale posters, unexpected compositions and enjoy quirky conversations about football.
'Atelier deux à deux' is a silkscreen printing collective exploring the boundaries between play and experiment. And as you've already may have guessed from its name it includes only two members: Sam Destrycker & Tim Van den Abeele. Illustrators who share their passion for football and printmaking. Well, you can hardly go wrong with that, do you?
Growing up in a family where life had stopped during the football championships (as it was on TV 24/7), I do still have a soft spot for everything football-related. So I'm looking forward to the vernissage.
